About the project

This project represents a complete transformation of a family house in Marianka with a total area of 435 m². The original house was built approximately 20 years ago and required a comprehensive renovation that included not only the interiors but also major technical and construction improvements.

The renovation included replacement of windows and doors, complete modernization of electrical installations, heating and ventilation systems, a new exterior facade, a full interior concept, and custom-made furniture throughout the house.

The main goal was to create a luxurious, unique, and timeless home that would reflect the personality of its owners rather than follow short-term design trends. Since the owners preferred richer and more expressive interiors over minimalistic white spaces, each room was designed with its own color palette, atmosphere, and character.

Every space was carefully planned according to its function and purpose while maintaining a strong connection throughout the entire house. The interior combines English classic influences with modern elements and high-quality natural materials.

The design incorporates materials such as solid wood, natural stone, decorative finishes, premium textiles, and custom-made furniture created specifically for this home.

Main Living Floor represents the social heart of the house – the main living area where family life and gatherings take place. This floor includes the main entrance, open kitchen connected with dining and living areas, a representative guest living room, guest bedroom, and bathrooms.

Entrance Hall and Pantry

The entrance hall was designed to create a strong first impression while naturally introducing the atmosphere and character of the entire home.

The main feature of the space is the black-and-white marble patterned flooring, inspired by traditional English interiors. The beige walls with decorative mouldings create an elegant backdrop for brass wall lighting and a statement crystal chandelier.

As part of the renovation, we decided to preserve the original solid mahogany doors from an Italian manufacturer. Instead of replacing them, they were carefully restored and incorporated into the new concept as one of the distinctive architectural elements of the interior.

Connected to the entrance hall is a separate pantry, designed in the same style as the surrounding living spaces. The built-in cabinetry in a deep green shade provides generous storage for everyday household needs, while integrated steps ensure convenient access to the upper shelves.

Even functional spaces were designed with the same attention to detail, combining practicality with aesthetics and allowing every part of the home to feel like a coherent element of the overall interior concept.

Kitchen and Dining Area

The kitchen was designed according to the client’s vision, with a traditional English kitchen and a retro-style range cooker as the main inspiration for the entire space.

The design concept was developed around this statement element, combining soft blue, beige and marble tones with elegant brass details, classic framed cabinetry and glass-fronted doors. The result is a refined kitchen that feels timeless while remaining highly functional for everyday use.

One of the key design features is a large multifunctional storage unit with sliding pocket doors. Behind the doors is a hidden working area with additional countertop space, small appliances and storage for everyday kitchen items.

When not in use, the entire area can be closed, maintaining a clean and organised appearance. This solution allows the kitchen to remain visually calm while providing maximum practicality.

The dining area is centred around a large extendable solid wood table, complemented by upholstered chairs and a statement crystal chandelier. A custom-made bench in a fresh green tone creates a subtle contrast and adds personality to the room.

Different flooring materials were used to define functional zones naturally. The kitchen area features marble-effect flooring, while the dining and relaxation areas continue with wooden flooring, bringing warmth and comfort into the interior.

Guest Bedroom

The guest bedroom continues the elegant character of the main living floor while introducing its own atmosphere through a combination of soft mint tones and original mahogany elements.

Behind the bed is a separate open wardrobe area, where the existing mahogany finish was preserved and transformed into a distinctive design feature.

The main focal point of the room is a decorative botanical wall with rich floral patterns, bringing softness and elegance into the space. The upholstered bed elements were selected in a deep red tone to complement the existing wood details and create a balanced colour composition.

The room also includes a comfortable relaxation corner with a mirror, lighting and a small dressing area, as well as direct access to the private guest bathroom.

Guest Bathroom

The private guest bathroom was designed as a softer and more delicate contrast to the other spaces of the house.

The combination of powder pink tones, beige onyx surfaces and rose-gold fixtures creates an elegant and luxurious atmosphere.

A freestanding corner bathtub, illuminated niches for cosmetics, custom-made vanity furniture and botanical decorative elements transform the bathroom into a refined private wellness space.

The carefully selected materials and warm colour palette create a calm and inviting environment while maintaining the sophisticated character of the entire residence.

Main Bathroom

The main bathroom was designed with a stronger and more dramatic material palette, combining deep blue marble, black stone surfaces and rose-gold details.

The dominant feature of the room is the spacious walk-in shower with a fully glazed enclosure, including both a traditional shower system and a ceiling-mounted rain shower.

Decorative mouldings were applied to the dry wall surfaces to soften the richness of the stone textures and connect the bathroom with the architectural language of the rest of the house.

The result is a luxurious bathroom that combines classic elegance with modern comfort.

Formal Living Room

The separate living room was designed as an elegant space for relaxation, family gatherings and hosting guests.

The main feature of the room is the original built-in TV wall and cabinetry made from mahogany veneer by an Italian manufacturer. Instead of replacing this valuable element, we carefully restored it, added new lighting, updated the glass details and hardware, and created a completely new interior concept around it.

Deep green wall finishes combined with decorative mouldings enhance the sophisticated atmosphere and naturally complement the original mahogany elements and the existing green marble fireplace.

To balance the darker tones, a large custom-made sofa in a warm ochre shade was designed for the room. Its rich colour creates a refined contrast with the green walls and wooden finishes while adding comfort and softness.

The final result is a luxurious salon inspired by traditional English residences, combining timeless elegance with modern functionality.
