About the project

The furniture in this part of the house was designed around a wide range of functions. The laundry room, entrance area, wine cabinet, private lounge and WC all serve completely different purposes, yet each was developed as part of one carefully considered interior concept.

As throughout the rest of the house, we worked with high-quality materials, durable finishes and quality hardware. Every piece was designed specifically for the dimensions of the space, the clients' requirements and the overall architectural concept.

Much of the furniture draws from English classic design, while selected areas incorporate stronger loft and industrial elements. The result is a collection of highly practical solutions with a distinctive visual identity.

Laundry Room

The laundry room was designed as a fully functional working space, with its layout inspired by a traditional kitchen.

The furniture is finished in a deep dark blue and designed in an English classic style. The lacquered MDF façades feature routed detailing, giving the cabinetry its refined traditional character.

The main working area features a black granite worktop with a large integrated sink. The generous work surface provides comfortable space for laundry care and other everyday household tasks.

The cabinetry incorporates the washing machine, tumble dryer and a dedicated drying cabinet. The water-heating boilers are also concealed behind the furniture doors. Full access to the technical equipment was maintained, while the design respects the necessary service and safety requirements.

Across the opposite wall, we created a full-height open shelving system. Its configuration was designed around the practical needs of the household, with dedicated spaces for the ironing board, mops, buckets, cleaning products, laundry and freshly ironed clothes waiting to be hung.

A movable ladder is integrated into the shelving system and runs along a specially designed metal rail. This allows the ladder to be moved easily across the entire storage wall without having to lift or carry it.

The result is a highly organised utility room where every everyday item has its own dedicated place.

Private Lounge with Bar

The private lounge was designed as a dedicated space for relaxation and entertaining. The furniture combines the elegance of English classic design with stronger loft-inspired elements.

The bar area is made from solid wood and incorporates a working surface with a sink, storage cabinets, glassware shelving and a built-in drinks and ice refrigerator.

The focal point of the room is the bespoke bar counter with its distinctive solid wood top. Its sides are glazed, revealing a handcrafted model ship positioned inside the counter. This became one of the most original decorative elements in the entire bar area.

A striking loft-style lighting installation above the bar further emphasises its sculptural character.

The furniture also includes a separate open display cabinet with mirrored surfaces and integrated lighting, designed to showcase bottles, glasses and other bar accessories.

In the lounge area, we combined solid wood with leather seating and distinctive standalone pieces. The bookcase and storage elements were designed to feel like a natural part of the room rather than separate pieces of furniture.

The result is a space where traditional craftsmanship and solid wood construction meet more expressive industrial details.

Built-in Wine Cabinet

The wine cabinet is one of the most distinctive furniture elements on this level.

The staircase from the upper floor leads directly towards the hallway, where the wine cabinet is positioned within a specially prepared niche. It is not a separate room, but a bespoke furniture element integrated directly into the architecture of the corridor.

Because the surrounding walls are finished in a rich wine-red tone, we chose oak veneer for the cabinet. The warm natural wood creates a sophisticated contrast and gives the area an almost château-like character.

The cabinet doors are fully glazed, allowing the collection to remain visually connected to the interior. Integrated LED lighting between the shelves highlights the bottles and turns the cabinet into a strong decorative feature.

The combination of oak, glass and warm lighting transforms a practical storage element into one of the key visual accents of the space.

Separate WC

Even in this compact WC, we created one of the most distinctive bespoke elements of the project.

The centrepiece is an unusual washbasin inspired by the shape of a traditional wooden barrel. As there was no suitable ready-made product available for this design, the element was developed specifically for the project.

A copper basin forms the base, surrounded by a structure made from individual wooden boards. The entire element is secured with a distinctive copper band that visually connects the different materials.

The result is a robust and highly individual piece that combines traditional craftsmanship with an industrial aesthetic and fits naturally into the character of this part of the house.
