About the project
The original layout of the apartment was not ideally suited to everyday living. It was a two-room apartment with a bedroom, living room, and a small kitchen, which had previously been converted into a home office by the former owners. The kitchen was later incorporated into the living room.
Our task was to completely redesign the living area with kitchen and the entrance hallway, making the available space as functional and comfortable as possible while creating a visually cohesive interior.
The project also included a complete redesign of the electrical installation and lighting, a new ceiling, flooring, and wall finishes. The entire interior was designed with an emphasis on practicality, sufficient storage, and a pleasant atmosphere despite the relatively compact area of 28 m².
Kitchen & Living Room
The main transformation of the living area involved a complete redesign of the layout. The kitchen was relocated to a different part of the room, creating a larger and more comfortable living zone with a better arrangement of the sofa and TV.
The kitchen was designed in a combination of white and natural wood. It connects naturally to a compact dining area with a table and chairs, creating a functional transition between the kitchen and living space.
Some pieces of furniture, including the sofa and dining table, had already been selected by the client. Our task was therefore to incorporate these existing elements into the new design and create a harmonious overall composition.
Behind the sofa, we designed a decorative wall with panels that also elegantly conceal the technical wiring. The light olive walls complement the white and natural wood furniture, creating a calm and contemporary atmosphere.
Because of the new kitchen location, the water and drainage connections also had to be redesigned and routed through the new floor structure. The result is not only a refreshed interior, but above all a more functional layout and a more comfortable everyday living space.

Entrance Hallway
The long entrance hallway was originally a dark and impractical space, with a large wardrobe extending into the circulation area and no central ceiling lighting.
We therefore completely redesigned the hallway. The new solution included the electrical installation, lighting, ceiling, flooring, and wall finishes.
Decorative plaster added depth and texture to the long space. The existing niches were transformed into practical storage solutions, including fully closed cabinets and a glass-fronted cabinet with integrated lighting.
The new wardrobe was designed to be narrower, providing the necessary storage while keeping the circulation area comfortable and unobstructed.
Near the entrance, we created a practical zone with a wall-mounted cabinet for everyday items, a full-height mirror, and a small upholstered stool. Decorative panels used in selected areas of the hallway visually connect it with the living room, bringing both spaces together into one cohesive interior.
